An Angel Torn part 10
For
many days, Icais watched the Taylors; analyzing their conduct and their flaws,
only to accentuate them. Every day he
sowed scorn between the parents as he gave nightmares to
the little John of what was to come. Every other night, Mr. Taylor would go out
for drinks and each time he’d arrive more wasted than before. With each drink
came new fights and more violence between him and his spouse; their son watched
with terror how his, not so pleasant, dreams came true.
One night Mr. Taylor came in drunk,
almost drowned in alcohol and drugs. The
time was now and the timing was the perfect excuse. When he got home to his surprise and
provoking in him a rage beyond description, Mrs. Taylor was packing up to leave
him.
Icais
possessed the body of the “man of the house” and struck Samantha across the
jaw, making her collide against the kitchen counter, knocking down plates and
utensils. With all the noise, little
John came out of his room to find his father stabbing his mother to death. At that moment, little John was no long able
to recognize the man standing before him and Icais transferred himself from one
John to another. Since the body was smaller, the feelings were more immense.
Mr.
John Taylor looked with horror as he realized what he had done and when he saw
his son, change before his eyes, little John no longer looked like the helpless
and innocent little boy he was. Instead
his face seemed enraged, evil, almost animal and wild and he ran towards him
yelling. The cries of anger brought a
chill down the man’s spine that wouldn’t let him move. Little John’s eyes were empty and pitch
black, and tears of blood were sprouting from them as he plunged himself, with
knife in hand, at his father.
With
each grunt was a deeper stab into Mr. Taylor’s chest. To Icais’ amusement, he was enjoying what he
was doing more than he thought he would.
His job was almost done. Mr.
Taylor lay lifeless under them. Only one
more thing to do…
Icais looked at himself in the reflection
of the bloodied knife and saw the change he provoked in little John. With a malevolent smile splashed with blood
across his face, he stabbed himself (little John) and left the body to die.
With his last breaths little John saw Icais and the look that came to the boys
face provoked in the fallen angel a sort of remorse, but it didn’t last a
single second. Little John’s last breath
was gone and took whatever feeling was residing in the fallen angel along with
it.
Icais
stayed until his master arrived to approve the work that had been done. Luke showed up after a couple of hours,
looked at Icais to see if he found any feelings inside his new black soul and
nodded with approval at his new servant.
He was pleased with the outcome of Icais’ first mission. A few more jobs and he would find himself at
Luke’s right hand.
Almost
instantly Icais received visions of his next jobs. Rape, torture and death is all he witnessed
and in all of his visions he was the cause of the crime.

an angel torn part 9
It was a long and lonely year
for Il’Icais in that cell. (Solange had
moved on to paradise and the memory of the Angel that sacrificed his wings for
her, was gone) But at last he has been freed from his chains and his new look and
attitude was exactly what Luke wanted.
Icais arrived with Sorlozon before
their leader and instantly they both went to their knees in reverence. No force needed now.
-“Hmmm…” Luke looked at him
satisfied with what he was seeing.
Sorlozon got up and Icais stayed in his position.
-“Rise, my son” Luke said after
a couple of minutes and looked at Sorlozon as if to celebrate the victory. -“Leave
us, Sorlozon” he ordered.
While Sorlozon left, Icais rose
to show his transformation to his new master: new wings, new eyes new scar and
no longer an angel…
While he stood there, before his
new master, he made memory of the long year that was now behind him. The first couple
of months we excruciatingly long. At first he thought he wouldn’t make it. Thinking
of his beloved and having to live with the fact that she no longer had
remembrance of him. Emptiness had fallen upon him when he looked around and
only saw her face in the back of his mind. Reminiscing about the times he
shared with her and moments he felt that he had failed, anger and guilt filled
his heart. (Both feelings he had never experienced before).
After 2 months and a half, a sharp,
burning pain fell upon his back. The agony
that he felt as he saw his wings wither slowly was insufferable. As he looked
into the solitary reflection that stared back at him, coming from the only
mirror on the wall that seemed to be made of hot coals struggling to burn, he
only wished he could soar in flight out of that horrendous hellhole. His wings
were completely gone by the 3rd month and where there once were two majestic
pearl-colored wings, were two horrifying bulges. Just as he was beginning to
get used to his new look he noticed something growing from the two lumps. The days
passed and as his new bat-like wings, that resembled the appearance of the wall
he faced every day and night, began to mature, he thought of the first wings
that were once in their place and the responsibility that laid upon him once they
were to their full capability; the honor of having a human to watch upon. The memory
of her only brought misery to his now insignificant existence.
On the 13th night of
that fifth month, he dreamed! He saw her face and experienced for the last time
the pure desire of having her with him.
No lust involved, just pure, unadulterated love. He had her in his arms
and felt her skin. He brushed every inch of her body with his lips but there
was no guilt involved and the changes he experienced and once feared were now
welcomed. He allowed himself to love her, knowing deep inside his now hardened
heart that it would be the last time. He
trembled at every touch that came from her gentle hands and the sensuality of
it all was indescribable. Every sigh that came from her as he gently stroked
increased the urge to take it to the next level. Before he knew it he was over
her and inside her at the same time. The elating sensation of knowing every one
of her desires and being able to satisfy them all to the last little detail,
was as close to heaven as he could get from where he was now. In every thrust
was a longing to satiate all of the rejections he had made her experience. With
every moan that came from her, he only prodded deeper and harder until in her
peak of pleasure, she held him close and with her grasp he felt a torrent of
passion running through him. As his name was being said and he heard his
beloved make her wanting of more pleasure known, he wouldn’t stop. And the
pure, unadulterated love was transforming into an unending lust for
passion. When that was done, he awoke,
to find himself clawing at the floor that was supposed to glisten with the
puddles of blood. He looked at the wall and it was also as pitch black as the
floor was and there was no mirror. He put his hands in front of his face and that’s
when he realized he was blind.
In present time, Icais was still
before Luke hearing everything but listening to nothing. Memoirs of his almost
eternal year in the pit, was what was found running through is most profound
thoughts. He closed his now crimson eyes
and remembered when he saw them for the first time.
On the 7th month of
his imprisonment, he awoke to find that his vision had been returned to him and
he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. His wings were almost twice the size of
his last ones and his opinion towards them had changed completely. What he, on
one occasion, thought of as horrifying, he now considered it to be grandiose
and he was proud of what he was seeing. He glared upon himself and for the
first time in many months, felt that he was himself, just darker. He found
himself feeling complete in almost every way until he looked at his chest. His
name was still incrusted on it. “Il’Icais” it read. Rage ran through every inch
of his being, and with it, his fist hit the mirror with a force that shattered
the glass into small bits. His hands were bleeding and her name came to his
mind once again.
The last time he saw her was now
the image running through his mind but instead of fear of losing her, he felt
hate! He hated how she had forgotten her after he had sacrificed so much for
her. He hated how she always seemed to be able to manipulate him into doing
what she wanted. He hated having been her slave! With every bit of hate, his
heart became hard and cold and this part of the transformation was the one he
would rather forget…
-“…now you are my son” is what he
heard once he brought his memories to where they should have been from the beginning.
-“Yes, Sire.” Icais replied. With
that said, he fell upon his knees with throbbing pain running through his
chest. He was turned on his back and he saw to his horror and satisfaction the
inscription across his chest turning into a horrid scar. The pain caused him to
black out and his first mission was given to him in vision. He saw a small boy,
angry at his stepfather for hurting his mother to the point of leaving her at
the hospital. He saw himself possess the body of the boy and kill the man
responsible…
After several hours on the
floor, he opened his eyes and gasped for air. Once he had his strength back, he
stood and saw himself, now feeling complete in every way possible.
-“you know what to do.” Luke
told him. He nodded and stared at his reflection… he knew exactly what he had
to do.
Love always,
Your lonely Angel
"h"
I shall
write of a memory
And I’ll
sing a song of love
Even
though my past is so obscure
I will
raise my eyes and look above
Into the
sky I shall fly
And with
my wings I’ll soar
I’ll
reach the stars and
Go
through every open door
No one
will stop me
My
happiness I’ll find
I’m only
looking forward
All
sadness is left behind
No
matter where you are
No
matter what you do
My love
and my darling
Know
that I will find you.
an unborn life
The
memory of how i lost you
Torments
my every thought
The
death that came upon you
You cant
imagine the pain it brought
That
burning pain consumed me
While
your life was being drained
The
blood that covered your body
It was
mine, were mine.
His
anger is what hurt you
My
distress is what finished it off
I’m
sorry for not knowing
If I
had, I wouldn’t have fought
In you
was my love
Even
when I wasn’t sure
Even
though I when I didn’t know
The pain
of knowing has no cure
Loosing
you has taught me well
And
gives me strength to fight
You had
no name, you had no chance
You’re
what I call an unborn life

An Angel Torn part 8
-“a deal?”- said Sorlozon intrigued by the offer. “What did you have in mind?”
-“A trade. You think his ‘highness’ will agree to that? An angel for a human soul?”
-“I don’t know. Let’s see shall we?” and in less than an instant they were in the heat and depths of Hades’ lair. Before them a bridge that went from the entrance to the door of the very center of hell. What was to happen next, neither Solange nor Icais were ready for it. With the first step onto the bridge came the torture that would last what would seem to be a life time.
The screaming in Icais’ mind commenced. The pain in in his head and burning of this chest were insufferable. He felt his wins being ripped off from the root and the memory of the day that he almost lost Solange came to be a reality once again, but in his head, he didn’t make it in time. He had los Solange. The thought of it tortured him. The idea of Solange’s soul being lost to the pits of hell became his worst nightmare. He had to save her. The memory was twisted. Something wasn’t right. He knew he had saved her, he was almost sure that he had gotten there in time. When his eyes were opened, he was leaning over the edge of the narrow bridge about to jump over to save a soul that was crying out to him. Sorlozon was holding him by the wings while laughing hysterically at the screams of both he and Solange, who was down on her knees crying out helplessly! Icais came to his senses and went to assist Solange in her desperation, once he reached her side, the pain began once again. This time, he was dying. He as now mortal and the fear that he was experimenting was one that surpassed anything he had felt before. Knowing that it was the end of his existence he questioned himself, not knowing if the sacrifice of immortality was worth the love of a woman that was no longer at his side. Desperate for water and food he as hungry, something he wasn’t familiar with. Hungry for life; a complete and sustained life where all his new human needs were satisfied. An unattainable necessity. He was left alone in a desert of confusion, pain and despair. And at his side the woman he loved was facing her own demons.
She fell on her knees the instant she stepped onto the bridge. Memories of her dead husband came to mind. The first arguments they had because of her condition. The first time he arrived drunk and raped her. The worst part was when their son walked in and witnessed the whole thing. How Jason grew up a difficult teenager after his father drank himself to death. With each memory she felt pain and craved the ending of her life. The image of the day that Jason left the care of her home and confessed his hate towards her. Those words pierced her heart like the knife that she had used earlier to bring her own death, leading to the pain that she was feeling now. The flames of her most intimate fears and regrets consumed her soul repeatedly. She could feel her end, she longed for it. She wanted to die again, except that she already was dead. She knew that what she was feeling now was going to last eternity. There was no consolation to be found except that her angel was kneeling right next to her, ending the suffering at her side.
Sorlozon kicked them both, causing them to step out of their mental torture chambers for mere minutes.
-“Get up, whore! Your new ‘lover’ waits!” Sorlozon said as he lifted her off the ground. “You too! There’s much to be done and as much as I’m pleased by your suffering there are other things that need to be undone.”
Icais was puzzled by those words, now knowing of the prophecy:
“For the angel will rise and will bring war upon He who is just and the exiled, bringing the end to the reign of darkness upon mankind”
Minutes later, the found themselves in the presence of Luke, better known as Lucifer. Sorlozon paid reverence to his highness while Solange and Icais were force down to their knees by the burning gaze of Luke.
-“Well, well, well, what do we have here?” he voiced, “Il’ Icais and his whore! Get her ready in my chambers.”
Icais had to strain himself from getting up and making things turn against his favor. Solange was taken away and the angel was left alone with Luke to talk.
-“Sorlozon tells me you have in mind a deal for the soul of Solange.”
-“Yes…” replied Icais.
-“What did you have in mind? Surely condemning yourself to the pits of hell isn’t enough. That’s the payment for helping her cheat death! So give me something more and make it worth my while.”
-“I’ll serve you! Instead of just ceasing to exist I’ll dedicate the rest of my eternal existence doing your will” he said, “I’ll hung the lost, I’ll torture the souls, I’ll kill if it means saving her!”
-“Done!” he replied. “You will serve me and she will be saved, hell, I’ll even talk to the Big guy to see if he lets her enter the heavens directly.”
In his head, Icais thought that it was too easy. What he didn’t know was that his service is exactly what Luke wanted from him. Solange was set free and was back in the chamber within the hour but there was something different in her eyes. She seemed lost. Her gaze was empty, when she looked at Icais and he went to reach after her, she jerked back, frightened by what she was seeing. He saw his reflection through her glassy eyes and noticed what was happening. In mere seconds, he was yelling from the ardent agony developing in his chest. His name was being burned off from his ribcage while Luke declared the prophecy to his favor.
‘And the demon will rise and bring war between he who is just and the exiled bringing the end to the reign of the light upon mankind.” He professed as Il’ Icais was turned into a fiend. “Just Icais! The name your whore used to call you by! You will serve me and I will be your king!”
Solange was saved but gone without even a memory of her now condemned angel and Icais was left bound in chains.

An Angel Torn part 7
Back in the heavens, Icais felt sorry for having left Solange alone, but couldn’t find a way to go back and face her. Instead he fled to his corridors and ignored his charge and his heart. For the first time in his existence he felt tears run down his face, his heart was beating awfully and the pain emerging from it was even worse. Little did he know that it was the last time he would see Solange with life.
She was alone, sad and without consolation. She knew, deep down, that because of what had happened she wouldn’t be able to see her angel in a long time. She wasn’t wrong; he would most definitely take some time off to redeem himself. But she couldn’t live without him any longer. It was time to act. She was going to try and reach him in the heavens one last time.
She went to the bathroom and got the tub ready with some warm water; went back to her room and did her makeup. She took off her clothes and looked in the mirror and after feeling satisfied with the way she looked, she walked to the room that used to belong to her son. She knew that he had left without taking many things, including a mid-sized folding knife with a red and black handle. The blade was a metallic black in which she could see her dark reflection.
With knife in hand she was heading back to the bathroom but in her head…. She was in a completely different place. She was transported into a dark room, alone and scared. She looked to the end of the room and saw Icais from afar. While trying to reach for him, she felt her hand tied up to a wall, one she couldn’t see. She cut herself loose and a red light began to flash before her face. She felt herself get wet, and found herself feeling a small but sharp pain. This feeling only brought more desperation. She looked at her arms and she could see what she was doing and the pain just got worse. The more blood that flowed, the closer she got to her angel. She opened new wounds in her legs, thighs, abdomen and where the pain was most unbearable, the chest.
After a couple of minutes she began to feel relief. The puddle of blood that she was looking at, she knew was hers and when she gazed up to see if she had reached her angel, he was gone and her mind was opened to reality. What had she just done? She was leaving her body and regretted it the moment she noticed. She remembered the time that Icais had come in time to save her, but her angel was nowhere to be seen she was lost and there was no hope. In her desperation she tried to step out of the tub, but only found herself tripping over and busting her lip. She tasted blood. She tasted her end.
In the meantime, Icais was back in his corridors, still crying, still in unexplainable pain and worst of all still ignoring his charge. Over and over again he played scenes in his head of how he could go back and excuse himself or at least explain. In one, he got down to his knees and gave her what she wanted in the first place, that scene in his head only fired him up as much as she had done just hours before. In another he went back and explained the rules again to her yet confessed his love once again. These scenes kept on playing repeatedly in his mind and with each one, he began to get the confidence to face her a bit more than the last, but the tears didn’t stop.
The pain inside of him kept growing. He didn’t know why. His chest began to burn and his head felt like it was going to burst and he decided it wasn’t going to go away until he said he was sorry. What he didn’t know was that he was loosing his charge. He got up and decided to pay her a visit. He went for scene #2 in which he would explain the rules but let her know that he never stopped loving her. Once he reached his post, he took a quick glance, and saw that she was “sleeping” in the tub. Not noticing the blood, or that she wasn’t in the tub at all, he turned back, braced himself with courage and flew back down against all rules to see her again.
Meanwhile in the depths of the earth the famous Luke was waiting for Solanges’ soul to arrive. It was the 7th time that he waited and was interrupted. This time he was going to make sure that she arrived to her hellish pit of despair, one way or another, so he sent his best, Sorlozon, to go get her.
-“The angels’ lover is going under again. Make sure she gets to me this time. I want to interference.” Luke ordered Sorlozon. “It’s not the first time that she tries so I highly doubt that HE will try to step in this time. If Icais shows up… you know what to do.”
-“Sire, Icais is the one of the prophecy. How is it that I am to make him fall to his end?” asked Sorlozon.
-“You just do as you are told and everything will fall into place. That prophecy will not come true” he replied.
Sorlozon left to complete his mission. In the meantime, Solange was battling to keep her life until Icais would arrive. She felt a presence approaching but once she looked up; it wasn’t her angel that she saw. Too weak to yell out for help, she just extended her arms with the purpose of defense but it was no use. Sorlozon already had her by the arm and was taking her away.
Icais came into the room and the moment that the picture he wouldn’t realize what was happening. Solanges’ body was lying dead on the floor and the devil’s accomplice was taking his lovers soul off to hell.
-“Don’t challenge me Icais. You know very well what the consequences to suicide are” Sorlozon exclaimed as he pinned him to the wall with knife to his neck. “You know that hell waits for a soul at the time of suicide. She will not cheat death again!”
Icais went over to the body and looked at Solange while her soul looked back at him wordless. Before he left with her, Icais’ eyes ran through the image before him.
-“Wait! Let’s make a deal…”http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/#
